Trump releases fiery statement following revealing approval ratings on public opinion

Donald Trump has criticized the latest approval ratings concerning his performance after completing the first year of his second term in office.

Since returning to the White House, Trump has seen a series of approval ratings released, many of which have been less than favorable, including the most recent figures.

A poll conducted by AP-NORC this month indicates that only four out of 10 US adults approve of Trump’s tenure as president so far.

In particular, 62 percent disapprove of his economic management, and 61 percent disapprove of his handling of immigration issues within the US.

Overall, as of January 8, 2026, 59 percent of those surveyed expressed an unfavorable view of the president, a sentiment that may have worsened following ICE raids in Minneapolis, where two civilians were fatally shot by federal agents.

Another survey by the New York Times and Siena University, published on January 22, revealed that 49 percent of participants felt the nation was in a worse state compared to a year ago, while only 32 percent believed it was better.

In response to these poll results, Trump issued a sharp statement.

“Fake and Fraudulent Polling should be, virtually, a criminal offense,” he stated.

“As an example, all of the Anti Trump Media that covered me during the 2020 Election showed Polls that were knowingly wrong. They knew what they were doing, trying to influence the Election, but I won in a Landslide, including winning the Popular Vote, all 7 of the 7 Swing States, the Electoral College was a route, and 2,750 Counties to 525.”

Trump continued his remarks: “You can’t do much better than that, and yet if people examined The Failing New York Times, ABC Fake News, NBC Fake News, CBS Fake News, Low Ratings CNN, or the now defunct MSDNC, Polls were all fraudulent, and bore nothing even close to the final results. Something has to be done about Fraudulent Polling. Even the Polls of FoxNews and The Wall Street Journal have been, over the years, terrible!”

He further asserted that there are ‘great Pollsters that called the Election right’ but claimed that the media avoids reporting these polls.

“Isn’t it sad what has happened to American Journalism, but I am going to do everything possible to keep this Polling SCAM from moving forward,” Trump vowed.
