Jill Zarin has been removed from the upcoming series The Golden Life due to her remarks about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance.
It was recently announced that E! News would proceed with the Real Housewives of New York reunion series, but Zarin will not be participating.
Blink49 Studios communicated to Variety regarding their choice to exclude her: “In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life. We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”
This decision follows Zarin’s controversial remarks about Bad Bunny in a now-removed video shared on Instagram during the Super Bowl.

“I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish,” the reality TV star commented on his performance.
She further criticized the Puerto Rican singer for allegedly ‘grabbing his [groin] area’ in front of a young audience, calling it ‘totally inappropriate.’
“You’ve got all these young kids watching the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds because he’s so insecure. Seriously,” Zarin expressed.
She added (according to Us Weekly): “I don’t speak Spanish. I would’ve liked to have known the words he was saying. To me, it looked like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the entire thing.”
After being removed from The Golden Life for her comments, Zarin addressed the situation, implying she acknowledged her error.
“They didn’t even give me a chance,” Zarin told In Touch regarding her dismissal, adding: “I took [the video] down right away. People make mistakes. I’m human.”
More updates to come.
