While Jennifer Garner is often recognized for her sweet demeanor, the 13 Going On 30 actress has admitted she is eager for a ‘physical fight’ with her close friend and co-star Judy Greer.
In the memorable teen movie from 2004, the two portrayed frenemies competing for career success.
Now, over two decades later, they are back together in the Apple TV series The Last Thing He Told Me, and Garner has openly expressed her surprising desire for future episodes of the show.
“I would like to have a fight with Judy Greer, but a physical fight,” Garner mentioned to Entertainment Weekly. “I would like to wipe the floor with her.”
This unexpected comment emerged as Garner and her on-screen spouse, former Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, were promoting the second season of the popular thriller. Coster-Waldau added: “Yes! She mentioned that in the other room, and she was like, she’s scared of you.”

“I know, I like that,” Garner responded. “We’ve been friends a long time. I would like to fight her.”
However, before anyone anticipates an intense on-screen battle, Garner clarified that she doesn’t intend to actually ‘hurt her.’
“She’s like, ‘I would call my stunt double right away. I wouldn’t even let you do it once’,” Garner said of Greer, adding: “Aww, no, she’d be okay. I wouldn’t have hurt her.”
Garner stars as Hannah in the Apple TV thriller, adapted from Laura Dave’s novel, which follows Hannah Hall as she forms an unexpected bond with her stepdaughter while searching for her missing husband.
The second season continues from where the first left off, with Owen (Coster-Waldau) returning after five years on the run, and Hannah and his daughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) working to reunite their family amidst emerging secrets.

This season introduces Greer’s character, Quinn Campano, the eldest daughter of the Campano crime family, complicating matters further, making a potential fight more conceivable than anticipated.
Off-screen, Garner and Greer’s friendship is far from the adversarial relationship depicted in the series. Garner expressed that reuniting with her long-time co-star was ‘a real joy.’ “I mean, it was hard to do, but a real joy. And I got to watch Judy and Angourie [together], which was incredible, and Judy and Luke [Kirby, who plays Quinn’s brother, Teddy], I mean those two together. He’s so good. They’re so good.”
The eight-episode second season of The Last Thing He Told Me will premiere on Apple TV on Friday, February 20, with new episodes released weekly.
