Kelly Osbourne claps back at “disgusting” body-shaming remarks

Kelly Osbourne has responded to a wave of cruel remarks she’s been receiving online about how she looks.

The 41-year-old, who is the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, has been navigating an incredibly difficult period since her father’s death in July 2025.

While grief is something people are often expected to endure quietly, Kelly has suggested that trying to move forward has been made even harder by the body-shaming comments aimed at her in recent months.

The TV personality confronted the criticism directly by reposting examples of the messages to her Instagram Stories.

Among the comments shared was one user describing her as being ‘too thin and fragile’, before adding that she looks like a ‘dead body’ and claiming she would be ‘going to see her dad soon’.

“Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!” Kelly wrote alongside a screenshot of the some of the abuse she’s endured.

This isn’t the first time she has spoken out about the way people have commented on her body since Ozzy’s death. Back in December, she addressed what she described as “horrible, mean and rude comments” in a post shared to Instagram.

Taking to Instagram on December 10 2025, Kelly wrote: “I’m just here to say, ‘What do you expect from me? What do you expect me to look like right now?’ The fact that I’m getting out of bed and facing my life and trying to be more than enough, I should be commended for that.”

She also criticised what she called “sick comments”, saying that the assumptions being made ignored what she was going through behind the scenes.

Slamming those writing the ‘sick comments’, the former reality TV star added: “For example, you say that I look ill. Well, I am ill right now. My life is completely flipped upside down. I don’t understand how people expect me to bounce back and look like everything is just fine in my life when it’s not.”

In a video posted around the same time, which she later deleted, Kelly continued by addressing repeated speculation about her health and weight.

In a clip that she later deleted, Kelly continued: “To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like ‘Are you ill,’ or ‘Get off Ozempic, you don’t look right.’ My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life not the miserable side of my life.”

Following Ozzy’s death, Kelly also posted a tribute referencing Black Sabbath’s ‘Changes’.

After Ozzy’s very sad passing last year, Kelly took to Instagram to quote Black Sabbath’s song ‘Changes’, as she penned: “I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had.”
