Death of 90 Day Fiance stars’ baby ruled ‘non-accidental’ as new details emerge

The medical examiner’s office has shared further details about the death of Eric Rosenbrook and Leida Margaretha’s newborn daughter.

The 90 Day Fiancé couple announced in July 2025 that their baby girl, Alisa, had died, sharing the news in a social media post.

“It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend tragedy has struck,” Rosenbrook penned on Facebook.

“Yesterday at 12:53 PM after 5 days on life supoort, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom.

“I do not want well wishes or questions. I will not answer anything, read or reply. I ask just for prayers for her.”

Alisa was five weeks old. Her death came shortly after Rosenbrook was arrested on domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct charges, following allegations that he slapped his partner on July 4, 2025 while she was holding the baby.

He has pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Authorities have not indicated that the arrest was related to the infant’s death.

Now, around eight months after Alisa’s passing, an initial assessment from the Adams County Health and Human Services Department has reportedly described the death as “non-accidental.”

According to Starcasm, the department allegedly “found a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother.”

Taylor Hart, Margaretha’s attorney, confirmed that finding to TMZ, while declining to provide further comment.

An official cause of death is expected to be released in the coming months. At this stage, no criminal charges have been filed in connection with Alisa’s death.

In the days leading up to her daughter’s death, Margaretha posted online asking God to “help me find peace.”

“Dear God… You can take away my life but do not take away my daughter’s life,” she wrote.

The Daily Mail reports that the post was later deleted, and that Alisa died a few days afterward.

Separately, Margaretha is facing 24 felony charges in Wisconsin tied to allegations including theft, wire fraud, and forgery.

US Weekly reports she pleaded not guilty during a court hearing earlier this month, with prosecutors alleging the offences occurred between November 2023 and March 2024.
