Zendaya has addressed the viral online images that claimed to show her marrying Tom Holland.
The Dune actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and was asked about the pictures that spread rapidly across social media.
She didn’t confirm any reports that she and her fiancé have already quietly married, but she did speak directly about the specific photos people were sharing.
Despite the buzz they created, Zendaya explained that the images weren’t authentic and had been produced using AI.
During the interview, she said the situation had even followed her offline, with people believing the pictures were real and praising them—forcing her to correct the misunderstanding.
She said: “Many people have been fooled by them. While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,’ and I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real’.”

Zendaya, who is set to appear in The Drama with Twilight actor Robert Pattinson, avoided making any firm comment about the marriage speculation involving Holland.
The couple became engaged in 2024 after years together. In March 2026, Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach fueled the rumours when he told Access Hollywood: “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.”
When asked about the wave of headlines, Zendaya responded: “Really? I haven’t seen any of them.”
She has also previously spoken about why she and Holland try to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. In an earlier interview with GQ, she described wanting certain moments to remain personal.
She said: “The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own.

“I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
Holland has echoed the same approach, emphasizing that their personal life is separate from their work and public profiles.
He has said their relationship isn’t connected to their careers or obligations to the public.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he said: “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible.
“We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
