Coldplay kiss cam woman makes bold claim about former CEO and recalls ‘horror’

The woman filmed on a kiss cam in an intimate moment with her boss during a Coldplay concert has said she discovered she’d been misled in the period leading up to the now-viral clip.

When frontman Chris Martin spotted the pair on the big screen and joked that the couple scrambling to hide must be “very shy” or “having an affair,” it ensured the relationship between HR executive Kristin Calbot and CEO Andy Byron would not stay out of the spotlight for long.

After footage of the incident spread widely online in July last year, both coworkers found their private lives dissected across social media. Calbot has said the aftermath became so intense that she even received death threats.

The situation was further complicated by the fact that both were married—just not to each other. While it was widely assumed they were estranged from their spouses, Calbot has since said her involvement with her former boss is now over.

The two initially bonded over the professional fallout, including losing their roles at tech company Astronomer. But in Tuesday’s episode of the Oprah Winfrey podcast, Calbot said she had stopped speaking to Byron by Fall, 2025.

She added: “There was a big miss on honesty and integrity.

“He wasn’t the person he represented himself to be, to me — and lying is a non-negotiable for me.”

Calbot said she and Byron “have no relationship now.” However, when Winfrey asked for specifics about how he had lied, Calbot declined to share additional private details.

“I wanna be really careful, because the world spoke for me and on my behalf, and I don’t wanna do that to somebody else and their family,” she said, referencing the widespread online belief that the two had been unfaithful.

According to Calbot, she had already been divorcing her husband for more than a month. She also said Byron had given her the impression that he and his wife had separated.

The 53-year-old told Winfrey she “unequivocally” believed Byron’s situation was as he had described it when she invited him along, after a friend gave her two free tickets to the Coldplay show.

Although she acknowledged that she kissed him that night, she said Byron was later seen with his wife not long after the concert, with both of them wearing wedding rings and holding hands.

Byron has not publicly addressed the episode that cost them their jobs and continues to weigh on Calbot. She also claimed he was still receiving job approaches despite the viral attention.

Calbot said that reality intensified her sense of being left to deal with the fallout alone as the internet replayed and scrutinized every moment of the clip. She told Winfrey: “I was left holding the bag — and I don’t, you know, being the one that was attacked for this with, know, he’s [Byron] remained silent.

“To me, that’s not a quality that I would look for in a friend or a partner or a boss,” she said. “So we have no relationship now.”
