A man previously accused of stalking Billie Eilish has died after being struck by a train on Long Island.
Prenell Rousseau was accused in 2020 of repeatedly showing up uninvited at Eilish’s home in Los Angeles and declining to leave when asked by the singer’s father, Patrick O’Connell.
Eilish was 18 at the time, while Rousseau was 24.
Rousseau has now been reported dead following an incident involving a Long Island Rail Road train in New York.
According to the New York Post, the 30-year-old was jogging ‘on or near’ the tracks when he was hit by an oncoming train on Wednesday (March 25).
Eilish and her family previously obtained an order of protection against Rousseau after he appeared at her home.

On his initial visit, Rousseau is said to have spoken to the ‘Ocean Eyes’ hitmakers dad through a surveillance camera. While Rousseau insisted he was meant to be there, Patrick told him he had the wrong address.
When he would not leave, the family reportedly contacted a private security company for help.
Per court records (via The Independent), Rousseau stayed on the porch and ‘began to read a book while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue’.
The visits reportedly took place during the height of the pandemic and Rousseau was alleged to not be wearing a mask, which added to the family’s concern.
The order granted to Eilish and her parents barred Rousseau from attempting to contact them, and required him to remain at least 100 yards away.

Rousseau is not the only person to have faced restraining orders linked to Eilish.
In 2021, an order was granted against John Hearle after he was accused of camping outside her home and harassing her.
In the 2021 filing, Eilish said that Hearle’s presence ’emotional injury including fear for my safety, fear for the safety of my family, and loss of my sense of peace and tranquillity and security in my home and personal space resulting from the repeated instances of harassment’.
In 2023, Shawn Christopher McIntyre was also issued a restraining order after allegedly sending hundreds of online messages to Eilish and her family.
He was also said to have made violent threats against her brother, Finneas O’Connell, and her close friend Zoe Donahoe.
