If you’ve ever tried to figure out what Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet chat about while sitting courtside at an NBA game, the real answer is probably not what you’d expect.
Chalamet, 30, and Jenner, 28, showed up to yesterday’s Memorial Day matchup as the New York Knicks were blown out by the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-93. The pair even coordinated, both wearing blue jerseys for the occasion.
It wasn’t only their outfits that appeared in sync, either. A professional lip reader has claimed Jenner seemed especially appreciative of her partner of three years for something he’d done.
And although the Dune actor was reportedly the one making a thoughtful gesture, the night still ended with Chalamet riding high when the Knicks later clinched a spot in the NBA finals for the first time in 27 years.

Whether you call the couple ‘Kymothée’ or is it ‘Jalamet’?, one onlooker was focused on far more than their fan energy—tracking their conversation throughout the game.
Speaking to MirrorUS, professional lip reader Nicola Hickling described what she believes she saw during one of their clearest exchanges. It began with Chalamet turning to Jenner and saying:
“I got ’em.”
Hickling didn’t specify what he meant, but Jenner’s reaction suggested it wasn’t anything ordinary.
According to the lip reader, Jenner replied:
“Thank you, they’re so excited to own one, I’ll tell ’em later.”
Chalamet then delivered a short, memorable follow-up:
“Let’s go Knicks.”

While the exact context remains unclear, Jenner’s use of “they” led to speculation that the item was intended for someone in her family.
That could include her two children with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott, Stormi and Aire—subjects Chalamet has largely avoided discussing publicly. The last time he was asked, he declined, saying it wasn’t out of fear, but because he didn’t have anything to add.
For much of the rest of the game, where the couple sat beside 30 Rock actor Tracey Morgan while the Knicks controlled the action, Hickling suggested their chatter looked fairly typical for a courtside night out—alongside Chalamet repeatedly popping up to celebrate and cheer.
Hickling also claimed she caught a separate moment that hinted Jenner may have something new in the works, with Chalamet appearing to ask:
“But I thought you were dropping it?”
Jenner, per the lip reader, seemed to confirm the idea but didn’t reveal any details, responding:
“Oh yeah, not today.”
