A social media couple known for sharing their RV campsite lifestyle have been found dead at a Florida campground, and investigators believe the husband fatally shot his wife before taking his own life.
Anissa Osborne, 56, and her husband, Christopher, 51, were found inside their RV at Ocean Pond Campground in Osceola National Forest on May 3 with gunshot wounds. Authorities were alerted after another camp host became concerned when Anissa hadn’t been seen for several days.
The couple had been staying at the campground as camp hosts since December 2025, regularly posting about their “little life” on Instagram at @osborne_rv_life_.
As the investigation continues, relatives have spoken publicly about their shock and confusion over what led to the deaths.
“He was always posting things about the love of his life and how much he loved his wife,” Christopher’s aunt Sharon Alvarez told First Coast News.
“To know that he killed her… this makes no sense.” Anissa’s cousin Laura Lorenzo Curry echoed that disbelief, describing Anissa as “a very vibrant, bubbly personality, absolutely hilarious,” adding: “She would say, ‘I love my tiny life.’ She appreciated the small things.”

Before beginning the RV chapter, Anissa worked as a nurse. People close to her say she quickly embraced the slower pace and simplicity that came with living at the campground.
Outside their site, a sign read: “Relax, you’re at the lake”—a calm sentiment that contrasted sharply with what was later discovered.
In the weeks leading up to May 3, Christopher had shared a message on Facebook that read: “My wife, my angel. I can’t live without you.” Anissa had also changed her profile picture around three months earlier to an image of the two of them smiling and holding roses.
To friends and followers, the pair appeared happy and deeply committed as they settled into this new routine.

According to another camp host, the last time she saw Anissa was the Thursday before the bodies were found, when Anissa stopped by to deliver soaps.
After Anissa didn’t appear on Saturday, the camp host contacted law enforcement. Deputies arrived the following morning to carry out a welfare check and located both Anissa and Christopher deceased inside the RV, each with apparent gunshot injuries.
The Baker County Sheriff’s Office said detectives are working alongside the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Although early findings suggest a murder-suicide, officials have said the investigation remains open, and further details have not yet been released.
“They were a very beloved couple by their family,” Curry said. “Really, really lovely people. And it’s really, really tragic.”
