A man who previously had access to tightly guarded information about extraterrestrials has claimed that aliens maintain four bases on Earth.
The United States has long been captivated by the idea of alien life, with various efforts launched over the years to explore whether intelligent beings might exist beyond our planet.
Among the best-known of these efforts was the Stargate Project — a secretive US military and intelligence program from the Cold War era that focused on testing and assessing so-called remote viewing.
‘Remote viewing’ was a concept that was created physicists Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) in the 1970s. A 1995 report prepared by The American Institutes for Research described remote viewing as ‘the ability to describe locations one has not visited without prior knowledge’.
As part of that work, US Army intelligence personnel were trained as remote viewers, including Leonard ‘Lyn’ Buchanan.

Buchanan’s story links back to another remote viewer, Pat Price, who was said to be the first person to identify four alleged extraterrestrial sites. Those locations were later examined again under the CIA’s Project 8200, with additional viewers tasked with checking whether Price’s claims could be corroborated.
Buchanan has said he was assigned to observe four specific areas: Mount Hayes in Alaska, Mount Zeil in Australia, Mount Nyangani in Zimbabwe, and a fourth site somewhere in the Pyrenees.
During an appearance on the American Alchemy podcast, he described each location as having its own role. He claimed the Alaska site was connected to intelligence collection, while the Australian location functioned as a kind of UFO “port of entry.”
He also alleged the Zimbabwe base was used to repair extraterrestrial craft, per Mail Online, while details about the supposed Pyrenees site remain uncertain.

In one session focused on the Australian location, Buchanan claimed he got the impression whatever was there could detect him.
“The first thing that happened was they let me know that they knew I was there and that it was okay,” he told podcast host Jesse Michels.
He further said earlier viewers reported seeing humans and non-human beings working together at one of the sites.
“[Pat] Price and Joe McMoneagle had found aliens and humans working side by side as sort of an intelligence gathering place,” the US Army intelligence veteran shared.
However, Buchanan said his own viewing suggested the situation had shifted by the time he checked it.
“I did Mount Hayes,” Buchanan recalled, “and found out that the equipment was now automated and still running, but there was no need for personnel there.”
He also alleged the Mount Hayes facility was concealed deep inside the mountain, making it extremely difficult for anyone to locate in the real world.
