Trump’s Pre-Father’s Day Post With Blonde Woman and ‘Great Daughter’ Message Leaves Internet Baffled

Donald Trump sparked confusion with a Father’s Day weekend post after referring to a blonde woman in a photo as his “great daughter.”

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, as many Americans were preparing for Father’s Day, the President shared a post on Truth Social that quickly raised questions online.

“Great daughter. My Honor!!! President DJT,” he wrote, alongside a picture of a blonde woman holding a telephone.

Trump, 80, has five children from three marriages: Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump with Ivana Trump, Tiffany Trump with Marla Maples, and Barron Trump with First Lady Melania Trump.

That left many people wondering who exactly he meant by his “great daughter.”

Some initially guessed the woman in the image was Marla Maples. But others online quickly suggested a different explanation, pointing to Margo Catsimatidis, the wife of billionaire businessman John Catsimatidis and the mother of Manhattan Republican Party chairwoman Andrea Catsimatidis.

John Catsimatidis, the CEO of Gristedes grocery chains and the Red Apple Group, has long been a Trump ally, and his family has maintained close ties to the president. Andrea Catsimatidis has also been a prominent figure in New York Republican politics for years.

Online sleuths noted that the image may have been an old photo taken at Camp David during the Clinton administration, which only added to the mystery surrounding why Trump used it to describe a “great daughter.”

Even so, not everyone agreed with the identification. Some social media users believed the woman in the photo was actually Betty Tucker, who served as the 38th First Lady of Arkansas and is the wife of Jim Tucker.

Regardless of who appears in the image, many online were still puzzled by Trump’s choice of words, since the woman shown is clearly not his daughter.

Others suggested the President may simply have been mistaken and thought one of his actual daughters was pictured.

The confusion got even stranger when Andrea Catsimatidis appeared to react to the post online, seemingly thanking Trump for the mention and adding to speculation that the image was connected to her family rather than one of the president’s own children.

Then, on Father’s Day itself, Trump returned to Truth Social with a broader message about the state of the country.

“Happy Father’s Day! Our Country is doing GREAT. Record Jobs Numbers and Stock Market, BEST ECONOMY EVER!” he wrote.

“Greatest Military in the World, by far. We are WINNING on all fronts, WINNING LIKE NEVER BEFORE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
