Nicola Peltz has sparked speculation online after an Instagram caption led some fans to wonder whether she was taking a subtle dig at Harper Beckham.
Nicola, who married Brooklyn Beckham in 2022, has long been linked to reports of tension within the Beckham family. The wedding has often been cited as the point at which relations began to deteriorate between Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, although neither family has publicly confirmed the full extent of any private fallout.
Brooklyn is the eldest of David and Victoria’s four children, with Romeo, Cruz and Harper making up the rest of the family.
Allegations surrounding the wedding day have circulated for years, including claims that Victoria supposedly “danced inappropriately” with her eldest son.
After months of public rumors about a family rift, Brooklyn addressed the situation himself in January 2026.
Part of his statement read: “I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.
“Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”

The reported fallout appears to have affected Brooklyn’s bond with his siblings as well. In June 2026, Harper was photographed outside Brooklyn’s home delivering a letter, though reports later said that neither Brooklyn nor Nicola were there at the time.
A representative for the Peltz-Beckhams said: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”
Now, Nicola’s latest social media post has drawn fresh attention. Sharing pictures from her brother Will Peltz’s wedding to Kenya Kinski-Jones, she described his new wife as her “dream sister” — a phrase that some followers believed could be interpreted as a pointed remark toward Harper.
Kenya is the daughter of late music producer Quincy Jones and German actress Nastassja Kinski.

Nicola’s post read: “This wedding was truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever had the privilege of witnessing. Willy, thank you for finally and officially giving me my dream sister, Ken.
“Watching the two of you love each other so deeply over the past 15 years has been one of the most beautiful gifts.
“Your love for each other has always been something so special [to] grow up with and celebrating this moment with everyone was unforgettable.”
She went on: “I love you both more than words can say, and I truly couldn’t be happier for you both. I am forever lucky to have the most incredible humans – the Jones’ to call family.”
The wording stood out because Nicola previously spoke warmly about Harper in an interview with People in 2024, saying: “If I could create the perfect dream little sister, it’s her. I’m so blessed I get to have her as my little sister in my life.”
That earlier quote led some Instagram users to suggest Nicola’s new caption carried a hidden message.
One person wrote: “Another dream sister. How sweet… hopefully longer lasting than the last one.”
Another added: “Mmm new favorite sis until another one pops along.”
The broader breakdown between Brooklyn, Nicola and the rest of the Beckham family has unfolded over several years, with the feud rumors intensifying around the couple’s wedding in April 2022 and resurfacing repeatedly through appearances, social media activity and public events.

Brooklyn and Nicola married on April 9, 2022, in Palm Beach, Florida, during a lavish ceremony attended by around 500 guests. They had become engaged two years earlier.
Before long, reports began describing a serious divide between Nicola and Victoria. Page Six claimed that “the build-up to the wedding was horrendous” and that they “can’t stand each other and don’t talk”.
There were also stories suggesting the disagreement was fueled by Nicola’s decision to wear Valentino rather than a gown designed by Victoria’s own label, though both sides later appeared to play down that version of events.
By March 2023, the family seemed to be presenting a united front, with Brooklyn and Nicola appearing at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show.
But the apparent calm did not last. In 2025, reports claimed Brooklyn and Nicola had not attended David’s 50th birthday celebrations, and that the family fallout had widened beyond Victoria and David to include Brooklyn’s brothers and sister.
Shortly afterward, TMZ reported that Brooklyn and Romeo were no longer speaking, allegedly because of Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who was said to have had a “romantic connection” with Brooklyn “several years ago”.
Cruz later denied that Brooklyn and Kim had ever dated. By May 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola were absent as David’s birthday celebrations continued.
In July 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola unfollowed Romeo and Cruz, with the move then mirrored in reverse.
The month after that, David and Victoria were reportedly not present at Brooklyn and Nicola’s vow renewal.
By December 2025, reports claimed Brooklyn no longer followed his parents, and that they no longer followed him either. Cruz publicly disputed part of that narrative.
He wrote on Instagram Stories: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I.”
In January 2026, further reports claimed Brooklyn had sent a legal letter to his parents asking that any communication go through his lawyer. Victoria was then said to have breached that boundary by “liking” one of his Instagram posts about roast chicken.
On January 19, Brooklyn posted a statement to Instagram Stories containing several explosive claims. Among them were accusations that his parents had tried to “ruin” his relationship with Nicola, had always “controlled” his life, and that “Brand Beckham” mattered more than family.
David later marked Brooklyn’s birthday with a public Instagram post that said: “27 Today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you.”
He included a childhood photo of Brooklyn and tagged Victoria, though he was reportedly unable to tag his son because he had been blocked.
Brooklyn did not respond publicly.
Harper, the youngest Beckham child, was then photographed outside Brooklyn’s home while delivering a letter. Reports suggested Brooklyn and Nicola were in New York at the time.
A representative for the Peltz-Beckhams again said: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.”
Meanwhile, Brooklyn appeared to reference the family turmoil in a DoorDash World Cup commercial, saying: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s a long story.”
