Model and content creator Nara Smith has shared that her two-year-old daughter, Whimsy Lou, was diagnosed with cancer.
In a reel posted to Instagram, the 24-year-old opened up about the difficult news, explaining that she and her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, found out about their daughter’s condition late last year.
Smith said the family first noticed something unusual and rushed Whimsy to the emergency room, where doctors initially were unsure what was causing the issue.
“When we saw something suspicious on her, we took her to the ER and they didn’t quite know what to make of it,” she said, as she addressed her followers in the emotional video.
According to Smith, the diagnosis came after further medical evaluation, though she did not share additional details about Whimsy’s cancer or current treatment.
The couple are also parents to daughters Rumble Honey and Fawnie Golden, and son Slim Easy.
