Kardashian Family Bodyguard Mason Haynes Dead at 52 After Car Crash

Mason Haynes, the longtime close protection officer trusted by the Kardashian family, has died after a fatal road crash just two days before his 53rd birthday.

His loved ones shared the devastating news through a GoFundMe page, where they remembered him as a ‘protector, a mentor, a prankster, and a giant in every sense of the word, with an even bigger heart’.

According to the fundraiser, Haynes died on July 4 in a motorcycle accident, with the page created to help support his family and give him the send-off they say he deserves.

“He leaves behind his devoted wife Fay, his daughter Brooke, his son Noah, a loving family, and an extraordinary circle of friends spread across the world.”

They also said he was someone who ‘made people feel welcome from the moment they met him’, a quality that helped make him a trusted figure around some of the world’s biggest celebrities.

Haynes was especially well known for his work alongside Kim Kardashian, and he was part of the family’s security team during the 2016 Paris robbery in which she was held at gunpoint.

Over the years, he is also understood to have worked with Kris Jenner, Kanye West, Lewis Hamilton, Charlie Puth, Nicki Minaj and Kevin Hart.

“The world has been robbed of that rare thing…a genuinely good man.”

Trojan Security UK, where Haynes worked, also paid tribute in a post on Instagram.

“RIP Big Mason.

“We would like to pay homage to an absolute legend in the close protection game. Gone too soon. Rest easy and fly high brother.”

His client list stretched well beyond the Kardashian circle, with Charlie Puth, Nicki Minaj and Kevin Hart also among the famous names he had protected.

His family explained that the fundraiser had been created to ‘ensure Mason gets the send-off he truly deserves, a celebration of a life that touched so many people’.

“Beyond that,” they added, “It will help ease some of the immediate financial pressures that inevitably follow such a sudden and devastating loss.”

Further details about the fatal collision have not yet been made public.
