TikTok creator Clavicular is known for his ‘looksmaxxing’ videos, as well as for courting controversy through both his travel plans and public comments.
The 20-year-old, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, is one of the more prominent faces of the looksmaxxing subculture, an online trend focused on improving physical appearance through everything from grooming and fitness to more extreme tactics. His rise has been fuelled by attention-grabbing livestreams and viral clips, which have made him a frequent topic of discussion across social media and TV interviews.
Following his recent trip to Israel, Clavicular appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored, where the conversation turned to where he may be heading next.
Morgan brought up speculation that the influencer could travel to Russia in 2026, noting that Poly Market gives it a ‘41% chance’. He also said Clavicular had made clear he ‘wasn’t going to apologize to anyone for it’.
“Yeah, I want to I want to visit Russia. I think that’s another controversial place. I’m viewsmaxxing at the end of the day. I’m using politics and what people say about these different countries as a way to like, engagement form, but really like you could attribute all these trips to just like exploring different night life and doing a bit of tourism.”
The interview then escalated when Morgan asked whether Clavicular would meet Vladimir Putin if he received an invitation during a trip there. The 20-year-old replied:
“I’ll see him tomorrow.”
When Morgan pressed him on the implications of such a meeting, Clavicular insisted he would not regard it as political.
“I would just be intentionally ignorant to all of the political implications,” he added.
Asked to explain that stance, he said:
“Because there’s too much controversy, too many questions. The media trying to be not too friendly to you,” he claimed.
He went on to say he would rather be asked lighter questions during interviews.
“And that’s not what I want, I want people to ask me during interviews what they can do to looksmaxx, to rate them, or something silly. Playful questions like that.”
Morgan pushed back on that explanation, arguing that critics would not interpret it so casually and would instead see him as ‘war-crime-maxxing’.
Clavicular responded by saying he was now receiving ‘global attention,’ which he could then use to speak about what he considers his area of expertise: looksmaxxing.
That did not appear to satisfy Morgan, who then asked whether Clavicular would also visit Donald Trump. The influencer gave much the same answer.
Seemingly frustrated, Morgan then asked whether there was anyone Clavicular would refuse to meet.
“I don’t want to say anyone, because then you’re going to say some dictator who throws people out of planes as like a ‘gotcha'” the influencer said.
Morgan quickly fired back:
“Well, you’ve already said you’d see Vladimir Putin,” Morgan sharply responded. “I’m pretty sure he’s done stuff like that.”
Clavicular’s answer was brief:
“Blissfully ignorant,” the influencer added.
The exchange appeared to go more smoothly than Peters’ previous appearance on 60 Minutes Australia, where he walked out after correspondent Adam Hegarty asked if he identifies as an incel. That interview helped cement his reputation as one of the internet’s most controversial young streamers, with his online persona built around deliberately provocative statements, extreme self-improvement content and an appetite for attention that often spills into the mainstream.
