Kaylee Hottle, widely recognized for playing Jia in two Godzilla films, has sadly passed away at the age of 18.
Hottle made her feature-film debut in Godzilla vs. Kong in 2021, where her performance as Jia quickly stood out to audiences. She later reprised the role in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, further cementing her place in the franchise.
Born in 2007, Hottle was known not only for her screen presence but also for bringing authenticity to a character who communicated through American Sign Language. Her work helped introduce a broader audience to Deaf representation in a major Hollywood blockbuster series.
