A $9.1 million superyacht sank off Sardinia just four days after delivery to its new owner.
The 98-foot vessel, named The Angiola II, went down Tuesday near Porto Cervo with 14 guests and crew aboard. No injuries were reported.
An engine failure sparked a fire, and the ship began taking on water.
Dramatic footage shows the massive vessel capsized on its side, slowly submerging below the surf.
Most of those onboard were rescued by a nearby ship.
The owner, believed to be an Italian businessman who has not been named, and another passenger were reportedly the last to abandon ship.
They waited until Italian authorities arrived to take them to land, reports said.
After the rescue, the half-sunk yacht was secured on the ocean floor to keep it in place.
Officials said it does not appear that any fuel had leaked.
The now-wrecked Angiola II had been delivered to the owner just four days earlier.
The Amer F100 yacht was built by Italian shipbuilder Permare in 2020.
It can host up to 10 guests in five cabins as well as five crew members, reports said.
The four-engine vessel can reach a speed of 28 knots, or just over 32 miles per hour.
Italian authorities are preparing to deploy a 220-ton pontoon boat to retrieve the ship from the wreckage site.
The incident is under investigation by the Italian Coast Guard.
