Meghan Markle is toasting a fresh start with a new sparkling wine release from her lifestyle brand.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, unveiled As Ever’s Reserve Brut on Instagram Tuesday, with the company calling it “a new chapter to celebrate.” The post featured two photos of the bottle against a clean backdrop, timing the announcement to her family’s highly publicized return to the United Kingdom.
As Ever described the wine as “crafted in the traditional Méthode Champenoise and sourced from Napa Valley,” adding it was “made for gathering, toasting and savoring life’s beautiful moments.” The Reserve Brut will be available Thursday on the brand’s website.
Markle launched As Ever in April 2025, debuting with raspberry jam, herbal teas, wildflower honey and cookie mix. The brand’s first wine, a 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, sold out in under an hour when it dropped in July 2025. A 2024 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and a 2021 Vintage Napa Valley Brut followed.
The Netflix partnership that once boosted the brand has since dissolved. The streaming giant canceled Markle’s lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan” after two seasons and a holiday special, reports said in January, and parted ways with As Ever entirely by March.
“Her show did not go on so it did not make sense to continue the partnership,” an industry source said at the time. Markle’s rep pushed back, insisting the brand was “ready to stand on its own” after “meaningful and rapid growth.”
“We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more,” the rep also teased.
Markle, Prince Harry, 41, and their children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, arrived in the UK last Wednesday. The family flew privately from California and touched down at Birmingham Airport around lunchtime, reports said. The Sussexes are relocating for an “extended period,” the outlet reported.
The 10-hour private flight cost an estimated $12,000 per hour, according to the same report. The move places them closer to King Charles III, who is battling cancer, and aims to let their children build relationships with royal relatives.
The couple, who stepped back from royal duties six years ago, will “continue with their business enterprises” while residing in a “non-royal residence,” reports said. They have been house-hunting in the Cotswolds, near Charles and Queen Camilla’s Highgrove House. Their children are already enrolled in a $35,000-a-year prep school.
