Brad Pitt Gets Into Character in Camo Suit at ‘Heart of the Beast’ Premiere

Brad Pitt suited up in full camouflage for a Nashville premiere.

The “Fight Club” star, 61, arrived at the Tennessee screening of his upcoming film “Heart of the Beast” on Thursday in a brown-and-green camo jacket and matching pants, both designed by Greg Lauren. He paired the look with an army green cotton T-shirt, slightly tinted aviator glasses, and layered gold chains.

On his arm was girlfriend Ines de Ramon, who wore a bohemian Chloé layered lace halter gown in pale peach. The jewelry executive, who sported waist-long hair in beachy waves and dark lipstick, has been linked to Pitt since late 2022.

Pitt’s head-to-toe military aesthetic directly mirrored his character in the film. In “Heart of the Beast,” he plays a former special forces soldier who survives a plane crash and finds himself stranded in the Alaskan wilderness alongside his combat dog. The role apparently called for a wardrobe heavy on camouflage, and Pitt carried that motif straight to the red carpet.

When asked about the attention-grabbing look during an interview at the event, Pitt deadpanned:

“I was trying to lay low … not be seen.”

The joke landed with extra irony given that the suit made him impossible to miss.

Pitt also reflected on a very different kind of high-profile gathering he attended earlier this summer. Speaking with reporters on the carpet, he called Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding “the wedding of the century.”

“Let me tell you, that was such an amazing night. I think we were there 10 hours, maybe 12,” he said, adding that he managed to lose de Ramon on the dance floor during the festivities.

The Madison Square Garden event, which took place in July, drew a star-studded crowd that included Pitt and de Ramon among numerous other celebrities.

Pitt’s method-dressing moment arrives as the actor continues a busy stretch of film promotion. “Heart of the Beast” marks one of several recent projects for the Oscar winner, who has maintained a steady presence in both prestige dramas and action-oriented fare.

The Nashville premiere drew particular attention for its location, far from the typical Los Angeles or New York rollout. Tennessee has become an increasingly common stop for film promotion, with Nashville in particular hosting several high-profile screenings in recent years.

Pitt and de Ramon’s appearance together continues their pattern of stepping out for significant events, though they generally keep their relationship low-key. The couple was first spotted together in November 2022 at a Bono concert in Los Angeles, and have since been seen at various industry functions and vacations.

The camouflage suit represents a departure from Pitt’s typically more understated red carpet style, which has trended toward classic tailoring and neutral tones in recent years. The Greg Lauren design, with its deliberate military references, served as both promotional tool and fashion statement.

Whether the look actually helped Pitt blend in anywhere remained doubtful. The actor, one of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces, drew the expected swarm of photographers and fans at the Tennessee venue.

“Heart of the Beast” is scheduled for release later this year.
