Taylor Swift, 35, dropped a suggestive new lyric about husband Travis Kelce, 35, that sent fans into a frenzy on Friday.
The line surfaced on “Cleveland!,” one of four bonus tracks released as part of *The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore*, an extended edition of her 2025 album. Swift sings, “The taste of me is acquired, but it’s his favorite dish,” a metaphor that listeners immediately decoded as a risqué nod to her NFL-star spouse.
The reaction on X was instantaneous. One fan posted: “THE TASTE OF ME IS ACQUIRED BUT ITS HIS FAVORITE DISH????????????? OHHH TAYLOR I LOVE IT WHEN YOUR DIRTY.”
The track’s title carries its own Kelce connection. Cleveland is the Ohio city where the Kansas City Chiefs tight end grew up, and Swift leans into the geography throughout. She mentions that her partner has already taken her to Cleveland and shown her The Heights, which fans recognized as a wink at Kelce’s podcast *New Heights*, co-hosted with his older brother, Jason Kelce, 37.
Romantic declarations surface elsewhere on the song too. Swift appears to call Kelce the “love of my life,” a detail that moved listeners as much as the spicier material. One fan wrote on X: “why is cleveland! Making me sob like…she found the love of her life guys,” Another added: “Cleveland is for Travis, she found her true love.”
This is not the first time Swift’s pen has wandered into intimate territory where Kelce is concerned. The original *The Life of a Showgirl* album, released earlier in 2025, included “Wood,” which featured the lyric: “Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see / His love was the key that opened my thighs.” That line similarly set social media ablaze when it first appeared.
The four new tracks arrived after Swift announced *The Encore* edition earlier in the week. She revealed on Instagram that she had returned to the studio with longtime collaborators Max Martin and Shellback following a celebratory trip to Sweden, where the team marked the original album’s record-breaking debut frame. She wrote on the platform that the additional songs were born from “pure gratitude.”
The extended edition also includes “Patient Zero,” whose music video stars Dakota Johnson, 35, and Colin Farrell, 49. Johnson, who has described Swift as a close friend, previously said of the casting: “Taylor and I have been friends for a really long time, and we’re very close, and we decided to work together.” The video is scheduled to debut at the MTV Video Music Awards, where Swift will also receive the inaugural Artist-Director Award.
Swift and Kelce wed in July at Madison Square Garden. She has continued attending Chiefs games during the current NFL season.
