Jennifer Lopez has a bone to pick with endless group chats.
The singer and actress, 57, vented about the everyday digital annoyance during a “Rent Free” game with Bilt Founder and CEO Ankur Jain in a video released Wednesday. The pair sat down to mark their collaboration for November Rent Day®, a monthly rewards event for Bilt Rewards members and cardholders.
“What’s living rent-free in my head and kind of drives me crazy a little bit is the group chat that never stops,” Lopez said during the conversation.

The “On the Floor” hitmaker did not hold back about what she wants instead.
“I need one person to say, ‘Sounds good.’ And just end it. Be brief. End it. We can’t go on forever,” she continued.
Lopez made her frustration unmistakably clear about where she stands on the modern communication staple.
“Sometimes I think the group chat wants to go on forever, but I don’t want it to. I want it to end,” she added.
Beyond the group chat grievances, Lopez used the Bilt appearance to promote a new exclusive edition of her 2011 album “LOVE?” The release features cherry-red vinyl and includes a fresh track titled “Proof of Love.”

“The ‘LOVE?’ album has some of my biggest hits, actually, my biggest hit probably of all time, ‘On the Floor,'” she shared about the project.
The song has enjoyed an unexpected second wind more than a decade after its debut.
“It’s always been a fan and a crowd favorite at my shows, and it had a whole new resurgence 15 years later when it was used on a television show, and it went viral,” Lopez mentioned, pointing to its feature in Prime Video’s hit show “Off Campus.”

The multi-hyphenate reflected on how digital platforms have transformed the lifespan of pop music.

“It’s funny how you can have a song come out in 2011 and then [it has] this whole new life. Nothing is old anymore, because people are discovering these things all the time and it’s new for them,” she said.
Jain praised Lopez’s enduring cultural footprint during their exchange.
“There aren’t many people whose name alone is synonymous with what they stand for,” he responded.

The Bilt executive highlighted Lopez’s Bronx roots and decades-long career spanning music, film, and business ventures.
“Jennifer started in the Bronx [New York] and has been a step ahead for decades, in music, film, and business, and she never lost the neighborhood in any of it,” Jain said.
He framed the collaboration as a meaningful moment for the company.
“Having her play Rent Free™ and help cover Bilt Members’ rent is a real honor for us,” he added.

Bilt operates as a membership platform centered on housing and hospitality, allowing members to earn rewards on rent payments, access neighborhood services, build toward homeownership, and redeem points across travel and lifestyle partners including airlines, hotels, fitness studios, and restaurants.
Lopez’s “LOVE?” vinyl featuring “Proof of Love” is currently available for pre-order.
