Jenny McCarthy Defends ‘Toxic’ Breast Implants Amid Mold Sickness Nightmare

Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg has defended her decision to keep her breast implants despite her ongoing mold poisoning battle.

The “Masked Singer” judge, 52, addressed the apparent contradiction on Tuesday’s episode of her podcast, where she interviewed her longtime plastic surgeon, Dr. Terry Dubrow. McCarthy acknowledged the criticism she faces for maintaining implants while identifying as “toxic-phobic.”

“I’m toxic-phobic, a lot of people make fun of me [for having implants],” she admitted during the show.

“Touché, you are correct, that is one thing that I, maybe, someday, when I’m an old lady, will want to be a free bird, but in this time of having to be in these dresses and stuff like that, I mean, I went down dramatically, much smaller where I used to be, but I am not ready for zucchini titties,” McCarthy lamented.

“I’m just not there yet,” she added.

McCarthy revealed that Dubrow, known from “Botched,” has handled her breast surgeries for years, including a reduction in the early 2000s. She currently has Motiva breast implants, a softer silicone variety approved by the FDA in 2024 that allows for more natural movement.

“Terry’s been doing my boobs for a very, very long time,” she said.

During their conversation, Dubrow indicated he does not believe McCarthy’s implants are connected to her mold poisoning diagnosis.

McCarthy was diagnosed with Mycotoxin poisoning in December 2025. The condition develops when someone inhales, ingests, or absorbs toxic chemicals produced by mold.

The illness has dramatically disrupted her daily life. She revealed in an October 29 podcast episode that she now sleeps in a tent in her backyard.

“Because I am paranoid now about basically sleeping anywhere, I live in a tent,” McCarthy shared. “I’m not even joking.”

She described feeling trapped by her own fear, explaining that she is “too paranoid” to reside anywhere else.

“That’s where this journey has brought me,” said McCarthy, who married New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg in 2014. “After all of those surgeries, after being diagnosed with Mycotoxin poisoning, I feel a little bit sometimes crazy and like the walls are caving in and paranoid.”

The former MTV host has been open about her difficult recovery process. She noted that mold poisoning patients often experience PTSD, and she remains in what she called “the traumatic part.”

“It’s really, really hard, and they talk about people with mold poisoning having PTSD, I’m still in the traumatic part,” she continued.

McCarthy is currently undergoing mold detox treatment.
