Cardi B has finally revealed the name of her baby boy with Stefon Diggs.
The rapper, 34, announced on Instagram Wednesday that her fourth child is named Grey, marking the first time she has shared the moniker since giving birth last November. The disclosure came with a heartfelt birthday tribute to the toddler, whom she called “Grey M.D” in the post.

“Happy 1st birthday to Grey M.D!!” she gushed on the platform. “It’s only been 1 year since meeting you but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever. I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me a extra strength.”
The Grammy winner expanded on the emotional connection in a second passage, writing, “I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life! You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like. You light up my life and every room with your smile your laugh and your precious spirit.”

The social media upload included multiple photos showing the child in various outfits, including a baseball cap and a doctor Halloween costume. The “M.D” suffix in his birthday greeting appeared to nod playfully at the medical attire.

Cardi had kept details about the baby private since announcing his arrival in November 2025. At that time, she told followers simply, “I brought … a new baby into the world,” adding, “One more reason to be the best version of me.” She also wrote that the newborn gave her “one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”

While her initial birth announcement did not specify the infant’s sex, she later clarified on her Instagram Story with a straightforward declaration: “I just had a boy.”
Diggs, 32, had actually broken the news days before Cardi’s announcement in a conversation with People, where he expressed eager anticipation about fathering a son. “That’s enough for me,” the NFL wide receiver told the outlet. “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”

The athlete and the rapper were first linked romantically in February 2025, though they have since ended their relationship. Their romance included a brief reunion earlier this year that generated headlines after a publicized disagreement at a coffee shop.

Diggs entered fatherhood in 2016 with daughter Nova, and his paternity of daughter Charliee was confirmed through legal proceedings initiated by the child’s mother, Aileen Lopera. He also reportedly welcomed additional children in 2025, a son with K’yanna Barber and a daughter with Cayy Benji.

Before Grey’s birth, Cardi had three other children from her marriage to Offset, which began in September 2017. Daughter Kulture is now 7, son Wave is 4, and daughter Blossom, born two months after Cardi filed for divorce in July 2024, recently turned 1. The divorce between Cardi and the Migos rapper remains pending.
Cardi has been vocal about her frustrations with Offset’s parenting, claiming in May that he had met Blossom “only five times.” She further alleged on X that she had been “left with the kids’ bills … for a year straight.”

The “Bodak Yellow” artist has built her public persona around unfiltered disclosure, making her year-long silence on Grey’s name notable. The eventual reveal paired the personal milestone with her characteristic emotional directness, framing motherhood as a source of resilience during turbulent periods.
