Most dogs who fancy a trip to the park have mastered subtle hint dropping; sitting on you and bringing you their favorite tennis ball until you understand. But this independent pooch decided to hop on the bus and take herself.

This is Eclipse, a 2-year-old black Lab mix. She lives in Seattle and her favorite place is the dog park.
Eclipse’s human usually takes her out but one day, when he was slacking off ball-throwing duties, she hopped on the city’s D-Line bus and went to the park all by herself. And now it’s a daily ritual.
Eclipse jumps on the bus, sits in a seat, and catches up with the local gossip.
She enjoys lots of attention (and gets to travel for free).
And, five stops later, she spies her most favorite place through the window and leaves the bus for playtime.
Until she’s all tuckered out and it’s time to catch the bus home again.
You can watch the full report on independent lady Eclipse in the video below:
Soon she’ll be getting the shopping and picking up the kids from school. Who needs a human?
