#1. They are ridiculously positive.
Being positive means never giving up. Billionaire success stories all include this: they never stopped pushing forward and they knew that they would get there in the end.
#2. They think of failures as lessons.
When a billionaire in the making fails along his/her journey to success, it’s merely part of the learning curve. They accept that their idea didn’t work but then, crucially, try something different. Steve Jobs’ first presentation on the Mac was a catastrophic fail. But he learned a lot from it, moved forward, and made billions. The next time you fail, remember Thomas Edison, who said: “I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
#3. They visualized their success.
With unwavering belief, billionaires all saw themselves as wealthy before they were actually rich. They believed in their products, services, and ideas. They didn’t look back or have doubts because they knew that everything they ever envisioned was inevitable.
#4. They work tirelessly.
Most billionaires will never tell you how hard they worked to get to where they are. The key is that for many of them, it didn’t feel like work at all.
#5. They are fearless.
Billionaires think outside the box, they take big risks and are fearless in doing so. Mark Zuckerberg said it best when he advised, “fail fast and break things.” The majority of people are afraid of losing everything they have or not achieving their goals. Billionaires embrace the unknown and put themselves out there.
#6. They take chances.
Billionaires spot opportunities a mile off, and they pursue them — even if it means leaving high school and starting a business like Richard Branson. They never say no to something out of a fear that it might not work out.
#7. When they fall they pick themselves up immediately.
If a billionaire were to make a colossal mistake that cost millions, they wouldn’t place the blame on themselves or anyone else. After all, failure is feedback. Take Nick Woodman, the creator of the GoPro who had two epic fails during the dotcom bubble at the beginning of the millenium. He picked himself up and succeeded — and now he’s worth nearly $2 billion.
#8. They help others.
Billionaires are visionaries who want a better world. It is said that the best way to become a billionaire is to help a billion people. This was the inspiration for Sergei Brin, the co-founder of Google. He was just a guy motivated to help the world search the internet a little easier.
#9. They are relentless.
Even when a billionaire is doubtful about a project, they keep going. A billionaire isn’t born with the gift of unlimited positivity. But they are relentless and stubborn about achieving their goals.
