Almost 30-year-old Simpsons gag is coming to life tonight after yet another wild accurate prediction

Can you believe “The Simpsons” did it again? Yes, they’ve predicted yet another real-world event.

The iconic animated series, which holds the title for the longest-running animated show in history, has famously predicted numerous future happenings over the years.

Some of their eerily accurate forecasts include Lady Gaga’s spectacular Super Bowl entrance, the U.S. tussle with murder hornets, a pandemic strikingly similar to Covid-19, and Donald Trump’s presidency.

Here’s another mind-blowing instance: an episode from 1996 has turned into reality on the evening of July 10. This particular scenario involves a mix-up that leads to an unexpected musical collaboration.

In the episode titled “Homerpalooza,” Cypress Hill, while possibly not in their usual state of mind, mistakenly think they’ve hired the London Symphony Orchestra to accompany them at a music festival.

A scene from the episode shows a festival roadie asking, “Hello bands, who is playing with the London Symphony Orchestra? Come on, people, somebody ordered a London Symphony Orchestra… possibly while high,” and then humorously adds, “Cypress Hill, I’m looking in your direction.”

After a brief discussion, Cypress Hill decides to roll with it, asking the crowd if they’re familiar with their hit ‘Insane in the Brain,’ and then proceeding to perform a phenomenal rendition of this track with the orchestra.

The joke from the 90s has materialized as Cypress Hill and the London Symphony Orchestra are set to perform together at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Thrilled about the collaboration, Cypress Hill expressed their excitement: “We are thrilled to be performing with the London Symphony Orchestra in such a prestigious venue as the Royal Albert Hall. It’s a dream come true, a collaboration only The Simpsons could have predicted,” the band stated.

In an earlier press release, the London Symphony Orchestra’s managing director Kathryn McDowell DBE acknowledged the uncanny prediction: “After years of social media teasing it, many fans started to believe it would only be a pipe dream – but the LSO is delighted to finally join Cypress Hill on stage and in person, and look forward to creating an unforgettable musical movement!”

She added, “Many thanks to the creators of The Simpsons for the idea and to AEG Artistic and PolyArts for making it all happen.”
