California-based freelance artist Sioin Queenie Liao has taken baby photography to a whole new level.
Inspired by the works of Anne Geddes and Adele Enersen, this mother of three focuses her creative abilities around her children, creating dream-like scenes while they’re preoccupied with deep sleep.

With the help of his imaginative mommy, this adorable baby named “Wengenn” gets to go on fun adventures every time he closes his eyes to sleep…
With over one hundred photographs, it’s hard to fathom how she comes up with so many ideas…
But as a child herself, Liao grew up with fairy tales, and she remembers reading the picture books over and over again and being enchanted by the colorful illustrations on every page, thus giving her the inspiration for her work today…
Every day, before baby Wengenn takes a nap…
She would imagine him as the main character in a story…
And “paint” a background setting…
With clothes, stuffed animals, and other materials around the house…
Just like a painter with her brushes…
She would put a costumed Wengenn in the middle of the scene…
And photograph him flying in the air as a trapeze artist,
Sailing through the clouds on a boat with wings,
And even giving interviews to Obama!
Baby Wengenn could be anywhere he wants, and whomever he wants…
And all he has to do…
Is close his eyes.
With all of the attention that the photo shoots have gotten, Queenie has decided to compile all the photographs into a book aptly titled, “Wengenn in Wonderland,” including step-by-step details on how she created the scenes, and instructions for other imaginative moms out there to follow.
