When one little girl didn’t fancy going back to school after the Christmas holidays, she found an ingenious way to fool her mom.
A mysterious letter arrived the Sunday before school reopened from the “School Compnay [sic],” which devious youngster Cara promptly showed her parents.
The anonymous and completely legitimate note confirmed that school was definitely closed for another week.
“The school compnay is taking a brake so the kids will get one more week of school off and we will need your child to sign their name here [sic],” the letter states.
The formal note included a line for Cara to sign her name and a helpful green arrow drawn in felt-tip pen.
The letter also included the bright pink official stamp of, er, Disney Princess Rapunzel.
Reddit users confirmed the authenticity of the letter.
“No stamp, I would have thought it was fake. One more week for sure,” commented one person.
“And the name is clearly in a different pen so she couldn’t have written this herself,” agreed another.
Sadly, we can’t confirm whether or not Cara had to go back to school on time — she definitely deserves a gold star for creativity and cunning, though.
