Jay-Z surpassed legendary Beatle Paul McCartney’s record of 83 nominations in 2021.
The “Run This Town” singer, on the other hand, found his match in wife Beyonce at the 2023 awards.
Kendrick Lamar has eight nominations this Grammy season, while Adele and Brandi Carlile both have seven.
Beyonce’s album “Renaissance” is nominated for album of the year, while her song “Be Alive,” which appeared in the film “King Richard,” was nominated for R&B.
She received nominations in many categories, including song and record of the year for her chart-topping single “Break My Soul.”
