Brad Pitt and Angelina Jovie’s legal drama just won’t quit! Pitt recently blasted his ex for her ‘intrusive’ demands in their ongoing court showdown.
This all flared up after Pitt’s 2022 lawsuit against Jolie for selling her share of their French winery, Chateau Miraval, to a Russian businessman without his OK. He claimed they had plans to pass the winery down to their kids.
Pitt also accused the new owners, Stoli, of trying to aggressively take over and has been trying to undo the sale. Jolie hit back, saying she didn’t need his permission to sell.
In a massive $350 million counterclaim, Stoli alleged Pitt mismanaged winery funds, which he denied.
As the legal battles rage on, Pitt claims Jolie is overstepping with ‘wide ranging and intrusive’ demands in their $350 million face-off.
Documents seen by In Touch reveal Pitt is frustrated by Jolie’s 54 document requests, which he feels are completely irrelevant to their business dispute.
Per In Touch, Jolie demands Pitt hand over all personal messages with friends and business partners about a 2016 argument on a private jet. She also wants any communications he had with the FBI about the incident.
The split between Pitt and Jolie got messy after the 2016 jet incident, where Pitt was accused of being physically abusive, an allegation that was investigated but led to no charges.
At the time, Pitt’s attorney said: “Brad has owned everything he’s responsible for from day one — unlike the other side but he’s not going to own anything he didn’t do. He has been on the receiving end of every type of personal attack and misrepresentation.”
In his latest filing, Pitt’s legal team slammed Jolie’s request for his private conversations as ‘unnecessary’ and likely to provoke more public controversy.
They added: “These private, third-party communications are unrelated to this case, and mostly irrelevant to ‘what happened on that plane.’”
“Jolie, however, wants them anyway in an attempt to dredge up their past divorce proceedings during this business dispute.”
