An underground library that seems to plummet into infinity is as ominous and arresting as it sounds.
This is Swedish artist Susanna Hesselberg’s entry to Sculpture by the Sea in Aarhus, Denmark.
Titled “When My Father Died It Was Like a Whole Library Had Burned Down,” the piece is actually a deeply personal one for the artist, alluding to her feeling of loss following her father’s death.
The piece is currently on exhibit with 55 others in Aarhus until July 5.
