Chris Brown’s meet and greets labelled ‘sad’ as he charges fans $1,111 for x-rated picture

Chris Brown’s meet and greet sessions have been catching a lot of flak online, with some critics labeling them as ‘sad.’

It’s a dream come true for many to come face-to-face with their favorite celebrities. Meet and greet events provide a chance for fans to engage directly with their idols, snap a selfie, and either compliment or critique their work.

While it’s typical to request a photo with celebrities, those attending Brown’s 11:11 Tour have been posing in rather suggestive ways, and there’s a significant price tag attached. Fans willing to splurge on a VIP meet-and-greet with the artist need to cough up $1,111 as per his official site.

This cost vastly overshadows the price of regular concert tickets or even some VIP packages.

Online, numerous photos have surfaced showing Brown and his fans in provocative poses that might be deemed inappropriate for less casual settings.

A Reddit thread discussing the pricey meet and greets highlighted some users’ disappointment. One commenter described the fans who pay such high prices as ‘sad’. Another sharply criticized the expenditure, saying, “If you pay a grand to meet Chris Britton, you deserve to be disappointed.”

Another Reddit user expressed astonishment at the high fee, recalling a cheaper encounter with another celebrity: “To put this into perspective, I met Snoop Dogg & got a photo with him backstage with a VIP pass for $250. Granted this was about 2017, but still, living legend Snoop Dogg for less than 1/4 of what Chris Brown is charging today.”

On X, formerly known as Twitter, users also mocked the high fees, with one person joking about relationship finances: “My girl looked at me sideways when I asked her to put something on the rent but gave Chris Brown $1,111.”

Another mocked, “Won’t go 50/50 with her man but $1,111 for a C BREEZY butt grab and a pic.”

Despite the steep price, the meet and greet package aligns with the title of his latest album, offering not just a photo but also a range of extras. These include two autographed items, an 11:11 calendar, a tour gift, a VIP laminate, a signed 8×10 photo, early show access, and the sought-after photo op with Brown himself.

This news comes amidst controversy surrounding Brown, including a recent lawsuit alleging he assaulted a man in a London nightclub with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila, as reported by PEOPLE.
