Chrishell Stause surfaced in public Wednesday for the first time since confirming her split from G Flip.
The “Selling Sunset” alum, 43, was photographed walking her dog, Peace, through Los Angeles in full glam — waves in her hair, makeup done, a striped cropped tank under a long trench coat, black sweats, and pink Givenchy slides on her feet. The outing came six days after she posted an emotional Instagram video announcing the four-year relationship was over.

Stause delivered the news directly to fans in that video, admitting she was still processing the breakup herself. “That’s not hard for me, because I’m in love with this person,” she said. “I don’t have all the information and the reasons” for their split.
“I’m sure just like always with time you get the lessons you’re meant to get,” she continued. “And I know that will happen and I’m gonna heal and everything’s gonna be fine.”

The Australian musician, whose real name is Georgia Flippen and who uses they/them pronouns, has not spoken publicly about the separation. The couple began dating in March 2022 and held several unofficial wedding ceremonies before the recent split.

Behind the scenes, the breakup had reportedly been building for months. A source said that G Flip “got really fed up” with dynamics in the relationship and “couldn’t take it anymore.” the outlet published a more detailed account, citing an insider who claimed Stause’s “clingy” behavior and demands for attention drove the wedge.
“She wanted all of G Flip’s time and attention,” that source alleged. “Everything became all about Chrishell.” The same insider claimed Stause “wanted to be catered to” while G Flip was trying to maintain their own career momentum.

The strain reportedly intensified after Stause exited “Selling Sunset” following nine seasons last year. “The strain started to show as Chrishell became demanding,” the outlet’s source said, describing her as “very ambitious.” The insider added that Stause “wanted to be on a big reality TV show after Selling Sunset, she felt she deserved that, but it didn’t materialize because Hollywood is tricky.”

Those who knew the couple reportedly found the split surprising on the surface, with one source noting the pair “was so happy and seemed so in love.” But Stause’s former co-star Bre Tiesi said’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast last month that she was “not surprised” by the news. “I don’t think anyone is surprised,” Tiesi added.

Stause’s ex-boyfriend and “Selling Sunset” co-star Jason Oppenheim also weighed in on the breakup, though the source article did not detail his specific comments. The real estate broker has otherwise kept her public statements limited to that single Instagram video, choosing not to address the more unflattering reports about her role in the separation.
The couple’s relationship had been highly visible from its start, with Stause documenting their romance across social platforms and integrating G Flip into her public persona. The musician, a drummer and singer who gained prominence in Australia before breaking into the U.S. Market, maintained a busier touring and recording schedule that sources suggest became a friction point as Stause sought more couple-focused visibility.

Stause has not announced any upcoming television projects or indicated when she might return to regular filming. Her dog walk Wednesday marked her only confirmed public appearance since the split announcement.
