Christina Aguilera bared it all in a Halloween-themed bathtub selfie posted to Instagram on Wednesday.
Aguilera, 45, posed nude in a cream-colored tub, letting her long blond hair fall across her face while two ghost emojis covered her chest. The “Genie in a Bottle” singer set the sultry snap to Lana Del Rey’s cover of “Season Of The Witch” and captioned it, “last looks before xtinaween 😏🎃🤡😈👻.”

The post arrives just months after Aguilera shut down speculation about her dramatic weight loss. In December 2024, she celebrated turning 44 by posing in leather micro shorts, a black hat and heels, with the black-and-white photo captioned, “Birthday Suit #44.” She had sparked Ozempic rumors in May 2024 after debuting a noticeably slimmer figure during a performance in Mexico.
Aguilera addressed the scrutiny directly in an August 2024 interview with Glamour.
“I have a maturity now where I just don’t give a f–k about your opinion,” she said. “I’m not going to take it on.”
She continued, “It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people’s opinions of me are not my business.”

The “Lady Marmalade” hitmaker traced the criticism back to the start of her career in the late ’90s, when her body first became a target of industry commentary.
“When you’re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you’re in your 20s,” she told the outlet. “I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, ‘Oh, she’s getting thicker.’ Then I had industry people: ‘They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager.'”

Rather than retreat, Aguilera leaned further into self-expression on social media. In January, she shared a carousel of photos from Paris in which she went topless save for a statement diamond necklace boasting more than 50 carats, paired with a voluminous black tulle skirt. “northern lights, parisian nights ✈️🌌🌃🌠⭐️💫✨,” she wrote alongside the images.

The “What a Girl Wants” songstress also turned negative attention into a statement in December 2024, sharing a montage of screenshots of comments about her appearance and vowing to do “something a little different” in 2025.
“This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE,” she wrote in part. “No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation.”

The bathtub selfie marks the latest in a string of racy posts that have become a signature of Aguilera’s social media presence, each one delivered with deliberate captioning and curated aesthetics that blend personal revelation with pop performance.

Aguilera’s Halloween post continues her pattern of using major moments and holidays to showcase her body on her own terms, framing the seasonal timing as “xtinaween” rather than traditional costume display.

The “Burlesque” actress has not announced any immediate follow-up projects tied to the post.
