World’s Oldest Barber Still On Cutting Edge At Age 104

While many of us are already thinking of retirement, 104-year-old Anthony Mancinelli is showing no signs of slowing down.

The Orange County barber started cutting hair aged just 12, when Calvin Coolidge was in the White House. Now he’s the oldest working barber in the world (officially recognised by the Guinness Book Of World Records).

And he has no plans to retire anytime soon. “Hours don’t matter with me, I don’t get tired, I just keep going,” he told ABC7NY, adding, “it keeps you young.”

In a few weeks he’ll turn 105, and, asked what he’ll do to celebrate, the witty centenarian replied, “come to work”.

Amazingly, Anthony still works at least 5 days a week, drives, lives alone, and cuts his own hair.

Anthony has regular clients at Fantastic Cuts in New Windsor, with one commenting, “He does a professional job, he’s a master barber.”

He’s definitely a cut above the rest, and we wish him the very best.
