David Filo: Co-Founder of Yahoo! Worth $3.2 Billion
David Filo is an American businessman and computer engineer who co-founded Yahoo! with Jerry Yang. He graduated from Tulane University with a BS in Computer Engineering and eventually donated $30 million to the TU School of Engineering. Born in Wisconsin in 1966, he moved to Louisiana at the age of six and attended high school in Sam Houston. Along with Yang, he set up a directory at Stanford University to share sites with friends, which eventually became Yahoo!. Today, Yahoo! provides numerous services aside from web search, including online dating, shopping, and website hosting.
