In light of the numerous allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking that have been levied against Diddy, his mother has come forward to defend him.
Janice Combs, the mother of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, released a statement on Sunday addressing the accusations directed at her son.
The music industry figure was charged by federal prosecutors in mid-September with racketeering and sex trafficking, and he has been denied bail on two occasions. Diddy has consistently denied all allegations made against him.
According to attorney Tony Buzbee, up to 120 individuals may eventually join the case against Diddy, with allegations including exploitation and sexual abuse forming the basis of the lawsuit.
Buzbee mentioned his intention to file lawsuits against the hip-hop artist in the coming 30 days. The claims will be brought by both men and women, aged between 9 and 38, including a 15-year-old girl who allegedly was drugged and sexually assaulted in Diddy’s presence.
Recently, Janice Combs, Diddy’s mother, made a public statement via attorney Natlie G. Figgers.
This statement, obtained by the Hollywood Reporter on October 6, reads: “My son is not the monster they have painted him to be, and he deserves the chance to tell his side.
“It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies.
“To bear witness [to] what seems to be like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words. Like every human being, my son deserves to have his day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence.”
Diddy’s legal representatives also released a statement to UNILAD, emphasizing their readiness to confront the accusations in court.
The statement declared: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.
”That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.
”He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
