Dramatic Footage Captures Car Smashing Into South Carolina Home During Police Chase

A grocery delivery driver’s split-second decision to park on the street instead of a driveway put her dashcam in perfect position to capture a stolen car slamming into a South Carolina home during a police chase.

Kristina Andriukova, 32, was carrying an order to a front door on Renwood Road in Simpsonville last Wednesday afternoon when the crash erupted behind her. Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputies had attempted to stop a reported stolen vehicle around 2:30 p.m., but the driver fled and crashed into the house moments later.

“I turned around and saw that a car had crashed into the house,” Andriukova said.

“At first, I thought the driver had accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and driven into the garage.”

The illusion of a simple accident shattered within seconds.

“Moments later, police cars arrived with their sirens on, and I saw someone running away,” she added.

“That’s when I realized it was actually a police chase.”

Two police cars reached the scene almost immediately, with one pursuing one of the fleeing suspects on foot. Andriukova had already broken from her normal routine in a way that now seemed fated.

“Normally, I pull into the driveway to get closer to the house, but for some reason, this time I decided to park on the street instead,” she said.

“My car ended up being parked near the house where the crash occurred.”

She returned to her vehicle and departed, passing several more police cars rushing toward the destruction. She later learned through a Facebook news report that teenagers had stolen the vehicle and crashed while trying to escape deputies. The report indicated two suspects had been arrested, though Andriukova did not witness the apprehensions herself.

Police initially announced that a person believed to have been the driver had been detained after fleeing the collision. A later update posted on Facebook confirmed that two juveniles, aged 15 and 16, were in custody facing charges of possession of a stolen vehicle.

“I was simply doing my job, delivering groceries, and suddenly found myself in the middle of a dangerous situation,” Andriukova said.

The incident unfolded October 15 in the suburban Greenville County community of Simpsonville, where routine afternoons gave way to screeching tires and splintered wood. Andriukova’s footage captured two people bolting from the wrecked vehicle before law enforcement closed in, one suspect pursued by a deputy while the second fled separately.

The delivery driver, unharmed but shaken, processed the chaos as she drove away from a job that had veered violently off-script. What began as an ordinary grocery drop-off became front-row documentation of a pursuit that ended with a home invaded by a stolen car and two teenagers facing felony charges.
