Ella Langley and Tucker Wetmore are officially dating, multiple sources confirmed on Wednesday.
The “Choosin’ Texas” singer, 27, and Wetmore, 26, were photographed leaving the Nashville Songwriter Awards together at the Ryman Auditorium on Tuesday night, the outlet first reported. The pair met through the music industry and mutual friends, according to sources who spoke with the outlet. Those same insiders noted that the couple’s “relationship has been going on well before” their Nashville outing.
The singers first sparked dating rumors in December 2025, when they shared separate Instagram Stories in the British Virgin Islands. They were also photographed together with a group at the Soggy Dollar Bar during that trip. Three months later, the duo sang a live acoustic duet of Tucker’s song “Sunburn” at the Heart Strings for Hope charity event in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Fans speculated about the pair’s relationship in the comments of a TikTok video of their performance. “I’m telling you they are in love,” one fan wrote. “Ngl I hope they become a couple,” another fan said. A third user commented, “Love how he looked surprised but happy to see her singing along.”
Langley shot to fame with her 2025 song “Choosin’ Texas,” which recently broke Mariah Carey’s record for the longest run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track’s music video starred Luke Grimes and Ava Phillippe.
Before Wetmore, Langley was previously linked to “Farmer Wants a Wife” star John Sansone, who claimed in April that the pair “dated for a couple of months” after he allegedly slid into her DMs. Prior to that, fans theorized that Langley dated her “You Look Like You Love Me” collaborator Riley Green.
Green shut down those rumors on Nick Viall’s podcast in 2024. “Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway. I think that’s kind of the country music fans,” he said. “When we first started having success with that song I kind of told Ella, there’s going to be a lot of things said but we don’t really have to play into it or not play into it,” Green, 37, added. “It’s just gonna be something that people enjoy.”
Wetmore, for his part, dated model and influencer Bryana Ferringer, who starred in his 2024 “Wind Up Missin’ You” music video, for a little under a year before they broke up.
The new couple has not publicly commented on their relationship. The outlet has reached out to reps for both Langley and Wetmore for comment.
Langley is scheduled to perform “Choosin’ Texas” at the upcoming CMA Awards.
