Feeling Blue? Read This.

Yes, life sucks sometimes. Even if everything is moving along smoothly, we’re all at risk of getting the temporary blues. But whenever you feel awful and want to crawl under a rock, it’s helpful to remember certain truths — they’ll make you feel a whole lot better.

#1. You are somebody’s rock star.

Somebody thinks you are fantastic. No matter how down you might be feeling, there’s somebody out there who thinks you’re the coolest person in the world.

#2. Somebody would take a bullet for you.

There are quite a few people in the world that would throw themselves in front of a bullet for you. You’re safe, protected and worth saving.

#3. Your worst mistakes have been good for you.

The biggest mistakes you’ve made have probably been the best lessons in life. Mistakes make you grow and are a part of life’s guidance system. If the lesson was big enough, you’ll make a different choice next time.

#4. Life will give you more than one chance.

Life is full of second chances. If you have missed out on something you really wanted in life, don’t look back. Know that another chance will come around and when it does, you’ll act on it.

#5. Your perspective may not be reality.

Sometimes all it takes is a change in your perception. If you feel like the world is against you (even when it isn’t) then it is. If you decide to change your thinking and tell yourself that the world is supporting you, then that’s what your reality will be.

#6. Guaranteed somebody out there loves you.

There is at least one person, though probably more, who really love you. If you weren’t around, they would be hopelessly lost in life. Your existence makes a difference.

#7. An opportunity is waiting for you right now.

If you feel like things aren’t going so well remember that the sky is darkest just before dawn. You may not see a path right now or a positive opportunity but it is coming. Believe in that.
