Glen Powell leaves people chilled after sharing shocking ‘date with cannibal’ story

When celebrities share tales from their lives, they’re often unusual or fascinating, but Glen Powell’s story about a date with a supposed cannibal takes the cake for being especially bizarre.

In a recent appearance on Jake Shane’s podcast, Therapuss, the actor shared a chilling tale that has left everyone questioning whether it’s a true story or just a piece of eerie fiction.

The narrative, according to the “Hit Man” star, involves his sister’s acquaintance who had a terrifying encounter on a date. Powell explained, “My sister was friends with a girl who went on a date with a guy who used a certain ‘black market lotion’ on her.” Just by the sound of it, things seemed off from the beginning.

He detailed the events, saying, “As she got back to his apartment, she started getting weird vibes like ‘something feels off’. He’s like, ‘Can I give you a massage?’ And she’s like, ‘Sure’.”

Powell continued, “He starts massaging her shoulders… Everything just feels odd. She’s like, ‘I gotta get out of here’. He gets a little weird ‘Like, no, please don’t leave, sorry’, she leaves.”

The next day, things took a turn for the worse. “Her skin starts itching like crazy. She goes to the doctor […] It turns out it’s a black market lotion that breaks down skin for human consumption,” recounted Powell.

The revelation shocked everyone listening. “This man was rubbing lotion on her body to eat her. The doctor is like ‘you have to give me this person’s address and you should call the police.’ They go to this guy’s house, and he had several bodies in the house,” Powell added, deepening the horror of his story.

Viewers of the podcast were astounded. One person commented on the video of Powell’s recount, stating, “Glenn just drops the most INSANE CRAZY serial killer story in the middle of the episode.”

Others praised the woman’s intuition, with one viewer noting, “[She] is so lucky she [was] listening to those instincts and felt the vibes were off cos it literally saved her life.”

Another said, “Who knows how many lives she saved because of her good instincts. Incredible.”

Despite the gripping tale, some listeners were skeptical, suggesting they’ve heard similar stories before, dismissing it as possibly an urban legend.

Regardless of the story’s authenticity, Powell’s engaging storytelling captured the audience’s attention. Fans expressed their admiration for his dynamic presence on the podcast. “I didn’t know what to expect, as I don’t know much about Glen but this was surprising and refreshing, will check out his movies now!” one fan remarked.

A second chimed in, “Omg I love this interview so much Jake!! You & Glen are a power duo!! Iconic!! Glen’s a sweetheart!”

True or not, Powell’s tale serves as a chilling reminder of the bizarre and unexpected stories that often emerge from the world of celebrities.
