The director of The Human Centipede is working on a new film described as ‘even more controversial’ than his previous work, with concerns that its shocking narrative might prevent its release.
Fans of The Human Centipede are familiar with its unsettling nature. If you can watch it without flinching, you likely have a strong stomach for horror films.
Despite The Human Centipede’s notoriety, the director has been trying to release a new film for over five years, facing challenges that may prevent it from ever being seen.
Director Tom Six has been attempting to release his latest project, following his Human Centipede trilogy, for half a decade but has yet to succeed.
The film, titled The Onania Club, centers around a group of women in Los Angeles who become sexually excited by horrific events and terror acts.
This film is considered so extreme that some have noted it as being even more provocative than The Human Centipede.
In an exclusive conversation with LADbible in October, Tom Six described the movie as “the ultimate satire on our time. The elites, religion, Covid, Black Swan events, conspiracy theories, the Illuminati.”
Although production was completed in 2020, Six revealed that a few private screenings have taken place, leaving audiences ‘blown away’ by the content.
He further explained to LADbible: “Distributors have become the new censors. They ignore me, they ridicule me and they patronize me out of fear and total ignorance. Millions of fans are screaming for this movie for five years now and they just don’t give a f**k.”
The director’s frustration over the film’s lack of release is evident, and as time passes, fans increasingly doubt it will ever premiere.
“Who is going to finance my films if there is no serious distributor that wants to release them? I live for making movies,” he expressed. “Instead of fighting for The Onania Club for the past years, I could have made at least two more films.”
A ‘shocking tell-all documentary’ is reportedly in the works, which Six claims is his ‘final hope’ for releasing The Onania Club.
He remarked: “You know what they say. There is nothing more dangerous than a man who has nothing to lose.”
