Jaime Pressly was removed from a San Jose hotel last Thursday after a prolonged disturbance that involved alleged intoxication, profanity, and unwanted physical contact with another guest.
The “My Name Is Earl” actress, 47, had been staying at the Signia by Hilton San Jose ahead of a scheduled appearance at GalaxyCon, according to reports. Guests at the hotel first complained that Pressly was speaking loudly on her phone, using explicit language, and drinking alcohol in common areas.
Witnesses said that Pressly appeared to be under the influence throughout the episode. Security guards approached her on multiple occasions, but she initially refused to engage, continuing a phone call that lasted approximately 30 minutes and holding up a finger to indicate she was not finished.
During that call, guests reported hearing Pressly say, “Mommy loves you.” She also was heard saying, “You are the best husband I have ever divorced and you are good to our kids.”
Pressly was previously married to entertainment lawyer Simran Singh. The couple share twin boys, and Pressly has another son from a previous relationship.
After ending her call, Pressly allegedly approached a woman who was attending a wedding at the hotel. She touched the woman’s arm and complained to her about the security guards, witnesses said.
The situation escalated when Pressly received another phone call. A security guard eventually intervened directly, telling her, “We’re done.”
Rather than leaving immediately, Pressly exited the lobby for roughly ten minutes to smoke outside. She returned hand in hand with a valet employee, then went back to the bar for another drink before security finally escorted her away.
The San Jose Police Department confirmed that officers were not called to the scene. No arrests were made.
Pressly’s representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A spokesperson for the Signia by Hilton San Jose cited privacy obligations in declining to provide information about the incident.
The actress launched an OnlyFans account earlier this year. She is also known for roles in “Not Another Teen Movie” and the sitcom “Mom.”
Following the hotel incident, Pressly canceled her planned appearance at GalaxyCon. The convention had been scheduled for the days immediately after the Thursday disturbance.
