Yeezy is attempting to patch fences with his former spouse. In a rare interview with Good Morning America, which aired on September 22, Kanye West apologized to Kim Kardashian for his social media shenanigans.
He declared, “This is the mother of my children.”And I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger, but also, ain’t nobody else need to be causing no stress either. I need this person to be [the] least stressed and of the best, sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children.”
In February 2021, Kardashian filed for divorce from West. North, a 9-year-old girl, Saint, a 6-year-old son, Chicago, a 4-year-old daughter, and Psalm, a 3-year-old boy, are their four children together. The rapper most recently claimed that Kardashian was allegedly denying him input over their children’s schooling by posting screenshots of their text chats on Instagram.
He likened the scenario to his continuing problems with Gap and Adidas. He captioned the now-deleted photo, “Me not having a say on where my children go to school,” he captioned the now-deleted post. “Call me whatever names you want. If you don’t understand why I will not back down on my businesses, my brands and my children then you’re the ones who are crazy.”
Following that, West gave followers an update on his Instagram Story and claimed to have had a “nice meeting” with Kardashian on the possibility of the children attending his brand-new, exclusive school, Donda Academy. Co-parenting was still occasionally difficult, according to West in the latest interview. He declared, “I do have a voice, but I had to fight for it,” he said. “That hurts you when you have to scream about what your kids are wearing.”
West has attacked Kardashian on social media several times, particularly when she was dating her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson. When Kim retaliated to one of West’s tantrums over their daughter North using TikTok in January 2021, everything finally came to a head.
She stated on an Instagram Story that “Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. “Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”
