Kanye West Fans Start Gofundme Pages to Restore His Billionaire Status

After brands such as Adidas, Balenciaga, and Gap severed connections with Kanye West due to his anti-Semitic rants, his supporters created GoFundMe campaigns to re-billionaire the artist.

West legally changed his name to Ye a year ago and declared last week that he had lost $2 billion in one day due to his anti-semitic outburst and “White Lives Matter” incident.

According to Forbes, the American rapper and entrepreneur is no longer a billionaire and has a new net worth of $400 million.

Despite the issues, Mr West’s followers have pledged to make him a billionaire. According to Newsweek, his fans started a crowd-funding campaign named “Make Kanye West a Billionaire Again” to raise $1 billion. However, it barely received $5 before being pulled from the GoFundMe page.

Even still, GoFundMe’s website displays other comparable efforts. According to the publication, in the 10 hours following its inception, one page headed “Help Kanye West Be A Billionaire Again” had not yet garnered any funds.

Meanwhile, Mr West came under fire for making anti-Semitic slurs, using hate speech, and claiming that fentanyl contributed to the murder of George Floyd, although his death was deemed a homicide. Several corporations have now dropped the entrepreneur.

West also resorted to Instagram last week to lament the state of his enterprise. He stated, “Does the fact that ‘unknown powers’ are attempting to destroy my life based on a tweet implies that my so-called suspicion was correct? Leading with compassion. This is a love letter “. Mr West also urged that the agreements be inspected, citing countless profitable ventures that had fallen through due to his ongoing attacks on the Jewish community.

More recently, he linked the fallout from his relentless barrage of hate speech to the murder of George Floyd. Mr West told the Los Angeles press on Friday, “God has taught me by what Adidas is doing and by what the media is doing, I know how it feels to have a knee on my neck now.”
