Kendra Wilkinson Returns to the Gym After 2 Years as She Opens Up About GLP-1 Weight Loss Journey

Kendra Wilkinson has shared “Omg I’ve lost so much weight LOL. Fitting back in my old jeans,”
as she returns to the gym after an extended hiatus amid her GLP-1 weight loss journey.

Kendra Wilkinson has showcased her dramatic four-dress-size drop after three months on a supervised GLP-1 weight loss journey.

The 41-year-old “Kendra Sells Hollywood” star modeled a stunning red, plunging two-piece bathing suit from the deck of a boat,
marking a significant milestone in her transformation.

She proudly credited her new confidence to the telehealth brand Effecty after traditional gym workouts failed to deliver results.

Last month, the former Playboy model had revealed different size metrics for her progress.

Wilkinson revealed that she went from almost a size 10 to less than a size 6, attributing her weight loss to the use of an unnamed GLP-1.

When she announced her collaboration with Effecty, she said “I’m so excited I’m starting my GLP-1 journey today with Effecty.com – unlike most people, I’m being honest with this journey.”

The mother of two had shared her initial hesitation about the drugs just months earlier.

“I started the weight loss shots,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories in April 2025. “Only did one. Nevermind. Throwing away!”

But circumstances changed by spring 2026.

“However, she resumed what she called her “GLP-1 journey” in March 2026, writing on Instagram that she was “being really intentional” about her usage this time around. “For me, it wasn’t just about weight… it was about feeling better, having more energy, and actually trusting the process instead of rushing it,” she continued. “I wanted something that felt transparent, supportive, and realistic for my lifestyle.”

In March, before she began the medication again, she had opened up about what pushed her to the decision.

“There’s nothing worse than being in a gym every single day, working out and not seeing any progress,” Kendra told Us Weekly in an interview published March 23. “I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately, so I don’t want to go out and shop anymore.”

Financial constraints became her punch line.

“Mama is on a budget, so I have to fit back in my jeans.”

She had signed up for the shots with modest expectations.

“But she isn’t looking to make a major transformation. “I just want to be balanced out,” she explained. “I don’t really want to be skinny, but I just want to be balanced and fit in my jeans again.”

By May, she was posting updates from her journey.

“Month two on my GLP-1 journey and I’m still being really intentional about how I approach this,” she stated. “For me, it was never just about the number on the scale. It’s about feeling like myself again, having real energy, and actually learning to trust the process without trying to fast forward it,”
the mom of two continued.

Her body metrics told the full story by summer.

“Now, three months into her dedicated routine with Effecty, she has dropped from a pushing size 10 to under a size 6.”

Wilkinson’s transparency about the GLP-1 sparked broader conversation.

“Legions of loyal fans rushed to her defense, flooding her Instagram page with praise for her stunning appearance, refreshing honesty, and vibrant confidence. In addition, supporters applauded her for acting as a positive role model by refusing to lie about her methods.”

Yet the bikini reel drew pushback as well.

“However, the post also drew skepticism from critics who questioned the long-term impacts of the medication. Some urged her to try alternative dieting methods instead.”

Back in January 2025, she had responded pointedly to online noise about her appearance and aging.

“Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, im aging. Yes, I’m not that girl i was before (playboy girl),” the former reality television star wrote and added a crying-laughing emoji. She continued, “But for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy.”

In the viral moment that preceded her current fitness push, Wilkinson had attempted GLP-1 medication for the first time in April 2025.
Her open advocacy represents a sharp U-turn from a brief, failed attempt in April 2025. Back then, she quit after just a single injection due to severe anxiety over potential side effects.

“The second I did it, something in my body said no,” she told friends in a now-viral story on social media. “I don’t need this. I need to feel me again.”
That moment of raw honesty—walking away from the trend—had seemed to mark her final word on the subject. Yet by spring 2026, after months of continued frustration at the gym despite daily effort, she revisited the decision with a different mindset and professional support.

Her children have remained a cornerstone of her priorities throughout the journey.

Kendra Wilkinson’s son, Hank Baskett IV, was accepted to Oaks Christian prep school in California, as revealed in a photo shared on Instagram by his mother. The Girls Next Door alum, 38, took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 24, to share a photo of Hank, 14, holding up a document that revealed he was accepted Oaks Christian prep school in Westlake Village, California.
