Kevin Jonas accidentally sent a nude photo to a group chat that included his brothers Nick and Joe Jonas, the siblings revealed on their podcast this week.
The 38-year-old musician shared the embarrassing mishap during Tuesday’s episode of “Hey Jonas!,” where Joe, 37, and Nick, 34, were present for the retelling. The brothers were joined by friends in a text chain devoted to their shared fandom of the New York Giants football team.
The trouble began when Kevin excitedly snapped a picture of his television screen showing the announcement that NFL player J.J. McCarthy would start as quarterback. What he failed to notice was the mirror behind him in his bathroom, which captured him getting into the shower.
“Guys, d–k’s out,” Kevin explained on the podcast. “The photo has mirrors, and I didn’t clock it, and it was in our bathroom, and I took the photo as I’m getting into the shower.”
His panicked text messages to the group became part of the episode. “Guys delete the photo I’m sorry,” he wrote. The texts continued, “Cuck my life. F–k. Delete the thread f–k.” Another read, “I’m such a moron.”
Nick found the aftermath more entertaining than the photo itself. “The texts are … Kevin, they are legendary,” he cracked during the episode.
Joe noted the specific content of the accidental exposure with deadpan delivery. “It’s literally just your wiener,” he said. He then connected the moment to his own Halloween costume: “And it’s funny for me to say that, but I just realized, my costume — because I’m dressed as a wiener.” Kevin, for his part, was dressed as a hamburger during the recording.
Kevin maintained a sense of humor throughout the discussion, laughing as his brothers teased him about the incident. The episode captured the brothers’ dynamic of ribbing one another even during personal embarrassments.
The mishap extended to Kevin’s wife Danielle, whose reaction he also shared. On his Instagram Stories, Kevin posted a screenshot of his Google search asking how long he had to unsend a photo. The answer was two minutes — a window that had clearly passed.
The accidental exposure comes during a period when Kevin’s physical appearance has drawn public attention. In May, Danielle posted a video showing off her husband’s shredded physique during a gym workout. She promoted his song “Little Things” while joking about his fit figure. “‘Little Things’ out now and apparently so are the abs,” she cracked at the time.
The brothers’ podcast episode aired with its Halloween theme intact, costumes and all, turning what could have been a mortifying private moment into content for their show.
