Larsa Pippen revealed she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.
The “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 52, shared the health news Thursday on her Instagram Story, where she reposted a headline about Matt Damon revealing his wife Luciana Barroso had suffered a brain aneurysm and undergone brain surgery in 2024.
“I get diagnosed with a brain aneurysm yesterday, and I wake up to this,” Pippen wrote.

A brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain that, in the rare case it ruptures, causes bleeding in the brain, according to the Mayo Clinic. Ruptured aneurysms can quickly become life-threatening and require emergency treatment.
Pippen had spoken out about her health last year, revealing that an allergic reaction was responsible for her changing appearance. In a video message in August 2025, she addressed speculation directly.

“I did have an allergic reaction to the PRP, which I didn’t even know you can have, so my face is a bit swollen, but it doesn’t look like that, so keep on hating guys,” she shared.

PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is a treatment that “uses a patient’s own blood platelets to promote healing and tissue repair,” according to Penn Medicine.
The diagnosis comes as Pippen has been building a new chapter in her personal life. She moved on with basketball player Jeff Coby, 32, whom she started dating in early 2025. That July, she said the couple were discussing engagement rings.
“I feel like we’re on a really good path right now,” the mom of four said. “We get along with everything. He’s been asking me what shaped stones I like, so I’ve been giving him little hints.”

Pippen continued, “We haven’t really talked about the size, but we just talked about [how] I like the brilliant cut or an oval. I feel like those are really cute.”

She also shared that Coby has “the best relationship” with her children. “They play board games. They love to hang out. They talk basketball,” she said.

Pippen was famously married for over 20 years to NBA legend Scottie Pippen, with whom she shares sons Scotty Jr., 26, Preston, 24, and Justin, 21, and daughter Sophia, 17. She dated Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan, 35, for over a year before news of their split broke in February 2024. An insider said at the time that the pair had “tension” in their relationship, which was allegedly “incited” by Michael, 63, “publicly denouncing it.”

The aneurysm revelation marks another health challenge for the reality star, who has faced public scrutiny over her appearance and personal relationships throughout her time in the spotlight. Her decision to share the diagnosis alongside news of another celebrity’s similar experience highlighted the unexpected nature of her own medical discovery.
Pippen founded the jewelry brand Larsa Marie and has remained a central figure on “The Real Housewives of Miami” through its revival.
