Quincy Kroner is not a big fan of superheroes or Disney cartoons. Instead, his heroes are the garbage men in his own town.
Every Friday he would climb up the couch to see the garbage truck. He would wave at the men driving, and they would wave back.
The garbage collecters grew fond of the toddler, so they started to honk and wave at the boy every time they were in his neighborhood.
And while all this happened, Quincy’s father, Ollie, kept a watchful eye — before finally doing something super special for his son.
The little toddler was gifted a toy garbage truck by his dad, and he waited a week to show it to his heroes. But when the day came and he met sanitation workers Eddie Washington and Mark Davis again, the feeling of joy proved to be too overwhelming.
Quincy quickly recovered after the photo was taken.
He’s back to his usual cheerful self, and now has a wonderful photo that we’re sure he will cherish for a lifetime.
